From a university founded by iconic entrepreneur Andrew Carnegie to a company built upon the ideals of Thomas Edison, Darry’s professional advancement has had an organic progression. 

A jack-of-all-trades, Darry holds the position of CFO, but his involvement extends far beyond the confines of any job title. Accounting, fund performance, Limited Partner reporting—name it and Darry has a hand in the process to ensure efficiency. 

Darry’s three decades of finance and operational experience has consisted of high-level roles, all of which were served with the goal of achieving profitable returns.

Chief Financial Officer and Principal Darry Oliver leads Edison’s financial operations, including accounting, analysis, reporting, cash management, audit and tax compliance, and human resources. He will also track the performance of fund investments, assist in portfolio company guidance and due diligence, and Limited Partner reporting. 

Prior Experience

Darry has 30 years of senior finance, accounting, and operational experience gained through a combination of public accounting and private industry experience. Darry was CFO and Special Partner of CEO Venture Fund, where he was responsible for all accounting, financial and administrative operations of the fund. He was also CFO of several high growth privately-held information and software technology companies: CME Information Services, Inc; Intelligent Technology Group, Inc; and Unilogic, Ltd. Darry also held positions as the VP-Finance of Quality Foods, a large manufacturer, and EVP and COO of United Way of Camden County.
